In the developing world, people are starving. More than 1 billion live on less than $1.25 a day. Meanwhile in privileged countries, it’s fashionable to be on a diet.
In 2015, Givesom launched the 1.25 diet campaign: Consuming food for no more than $1.25 and donating the money saved to those in need.
