The Larsen B ice shelf
According to new NASA study, a 10,000-year-old Antarctic ice shelf will disappear by 2020. The Larsen B ice shelf is one of the fastest-warming places on Earth (+4.5 degrees Fahrenheit since 1950).
The study appeared in the journal Earth and Planetary Science Letters.
