Dolce & Gabbana Fragrance Anthology

Dolce Gabbana created on 2009 six fragrances called DG Anthology inspired by tarot cards (the Major Arcana): Le Bateleur 1, L’Imperatrice 3, L’Amoureaux 6, La Roue de la Fortune 10, la Force 11 and La Lune 18.

1, 6 and 11 are for men.

3, 10 and 18 are for ladies.

Stripped off

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana invited seven supermodels to represent their new fragrances: Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Fernando Fernandes, Noah Mills, Tony Ward and Tyson Ballou… All naked. The photographer Mario Testino took the hot shots.

Each model represented one particular aroma.

1 Le Bateleur (The Magician feat Tyson Ballou) fresh fragrance with notes of vetivera and cedar.

3 L’Impératrice (The Empress feat Naomi Campbell) fruity perfume based on hints of melon, kiwi fruit, musk and cyclamen.

6 L’Amoureux (The Lovers feat Noah Mills) spicy fragrance with bergamot, juniper, pink pepper, cardamom, birch leaf, orris, wood and musk.

10 La Roue de la Fortune (The Wheel of Fortune feat Eva Herzigova and Fernando Fernandes) perfume with notes of tuberose, gardenia, patchouli benzoin and Jasmine.

11 La Force (Strenght feat Tony Ward) oriental notes with accords of cinnamon and bourbon vanilla.

18 La Lune (The Moon feat Claudia Schiffer) fragrance with lily, musk, tuberose, sandalwood, orris and leather.
